Online Map Imagery in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015!
Hello everyone… This is probably my favorite new feature in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015… After you assign a coordinate system to your drawing, the Geolocation tab appears on the ribbon.
**You will need to sign in to Autodesk 360 in order to use this**
Click the Geolocation tab -> Online Maps panel -> Map type pull-down, and then select Aerial, Road, or Hybrid image.
After that the map will be displayed in the drawing.
You can now Clip the Aerial image on your drawing for a particular area and it can be print as well.
